Living in Clutter

Have you ever met someone who just wants to buy stuff even when we think they really don’t need them? They may have too many of the same thing and still they want to buy more of them.

May be we ourselves have had people constantly provoking us that we are always buying in spite of having so much.

We may find that our spaces, such as our living area, our dining area, our bedrooms, and our kitchen even our toilets are always full of clutter.

So much so that it makes it so difficult to find something that we want – although we know very well that we do have so many of what we are looking for somewhere in the house but we just can’t find them right now - and so the next time we go out we want to buy more of what we are looking for with the hope that the next time we need them we will be able to find them in our home.

This just continues to increase the clutter in our home and continues to make it more difficult to find what we want when we want them.

We may occasionally hire someone to clean up the clutter and to put everything in their places - only to find that no sooner than we expected everything gets back to the original look again.

As we can see this can adversely affect our life in many ways.

We may feel extremely embarrassed if a friend drops by at our place or even if they do make an appointment to drop by it may still not be enough time to get our home organised for their visit. So we end up stopping all visitors to our home.

We may find ourselves constantly complaining and being dissatisfied that we don’t have enough money – although everyone around us thinks we are earning enough to live a comfortable life.

If we are married then this is definitely going to be not only an area of constant conflict but a threat to the continuity of the marriage.

On top of all this we may ourselves feel like we are totally out of control of our life and be pushed into bouts of depression.

If we are experiencing any of the above or know someone who is experiencing this – it may be due to anxiety issues.

We don’t have to feel this way anymore. All the help we need is available to completely get us over this.
